Qualified is an AI-powered agentic marketing platform
Piper engages prospects across chat, voice, video, and email, qualifying leads, routing data to sales reps, and booking meetings
Qualified is ideal for B2B teams that use Salesforce, receive high volumes of web traffic, and have the RevOps capacity to configure it
Piper customers praise its usable interface, strong support, and Salesforce compatibility
Users criticize its steep learning curve, limited customizability, and difficult-to-manage backend
Salesforce acquired Qualified in April 2026, shining a spotlight on Piper, the platform’s AI SDR agent that handles inbound leads across chat, voice, video, and email.
This Qualified review outlines how Piper works well for Salesforce-centered B2B teams with high-traffic websites. It also explores why some teams might consider alternatives if they need rapid onboarding, prefer AI-native technology (more on that below), or have other requirements that go beyond Piper’s primary focus.
We’ll highlight Qualified's features, pricing, plan limits, positive and critical customer feedback, and how to decide whether Piper is right for your Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.
Product details are from Qualified’s website on October 9, 2026.

Qualified is an agentic marketing and inbound lead platform. Piper is Qualified’s AI SDR agent designed to engage potential inbound leads and communicate with them across chat, voice, video, and email.
Inbound lead automation qualifies leads using firmographics (data about the company) and behavior-based intent data (e.g., spending time on a pricing page reveals key information about buyer priorities and their position in the sales cycle). It also asks the client questions about their business, books meetings, and communicates directly with CRMs.
Qualified is built natively in Salesforce and designed for B2B marketing teams using Salesforce as their CRM.
Salesforce completed its Qualified acquisition in April 2026. Salesforce bought Qualified as part of building out Agentforce, its family of AI agents.
It’s impossible to predict what (if any) changes Salesforce might make to Qualified’s offerings. However, since offerings may shift after an acquisition, be sure to verify the current packaging and upcoming product roadmaps with a Qualified sales rep if you’re evaluating Piper.

Spara competes with Qualified, so we built this review from sources you can check yourself: Qualified's website and pricing page, Salesforce's announcements about the acquisition, and recent G2 reviews from 2025 and 2026.
We looked at what Piper does, how it fits a Salesforce stack, what it takes to set up and scale, what customers say works, and what they say doesn’t work. We checked everything in October 2026.
As an AI SDR agent handling inbound leads, Piper can communicate with your website visitors across different channels through the ordinary, human-like conversation that we’re now used to having with Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT. As it answers questions and connects with prospects, it also works to qualify each lead, book meetings with ideal prospects, and route the information to the appropriate human sales reps.
Here’s how Piper achieves all that, what works well, and where real customers have identified limitations.
When visitors reach your website, from a desktop or mobile device, they can have a live conversation with the Piper AI agent via chat, voice, or video. It answers questions and gathers information. Piper is customizable and adapts to the information you feed it, and it communicates relevant information to your CRM.
What works: Agentic communication works across desktop and mobile platforms, qualifying and capturing leads with Salesforce integration. One reviewer on G2 Reviews, Founder Abdullah S., mentioned on January 27, 2026, that he appreciated the ability to upload response templates to enable faster replies.
Limitations: Qualified’s pricing page, as of October 9, 2026, identifies web session limits for each plan. For example, the Premier plan limits users to 250,000 monthly web sessions.
Additionally, an otherwise happy customer on G2 Reviews, Marketing Creative Manager Raphyel J., found that the agent struggled to answer more detailed questions that prospects often ask about his business, as noted in a review left on January 26, 2025. Business Development Manager Madison S. suggested that the User Interface (UI) was “a bit confusing/busy in certain areas” in a review from January 22, 2026.

Email lead follow-up is essential for converting prospects into customers, and Piper uses email communication to further engage prospects, answer additional questions, and gather more information.
Piper users can filter leads according to their Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), ensuring that Piper works leads that will ultimately drive business.
What works: Business Development Manager Shaneeza M. left a G2 review on January 22, 2026, claiming a significant increase in follow-up email open rates after implementing Piper. “The email quality is excellent,” she says.
Limitations: Qualified’s pricing page, as of October 9, 2026, identifies email limits for each plan. The Premier plan limits users to 2,500 monthly active email contacts, for example.
Additionally, an anonymous verified Piper user commented at great length on their struggles to create a scalable process for building out multiple emails that trigger separate workflows (December 17, 2025). The user was happy with the overall experience, but found Piper lacking in this respect.

Piper allows users to filter leads and work those that fit their ICPs
As Piper connects with visitors, it qualifies all leads based on firmographics and intent data. It then routes them to the appropriate human sales reps, books meetings, and conducts follow-up emails, as we discuss above. The system also identifies visitors in real time, according to Qualified’s AI info page as of October 9, 2026.
What works: In a G2 review on August 28, 2026, Senior Demand Generation Manager Megan G. says that Qualified has made it much easier to “identify and engage the right people” when they visit the website.
Limitations: The same user, Megan G., described the overall system as “a bit tricky due to the mass amount of capabilities.” As of October 12, 2026, G2 has identified over 100 user reviews that list “learning curve” as a general con within its “Pros & Cons” filter.
On January 27, 2026, Creative Director Tess C. wrote: “The main challenge with Qualified is around usability and intuitiveness in certain areas, particularly related to availability management.”

Example of how Piper classifies visitors, from Qualified’s Product Page
Piper qualifies leads based on firmographics and intent data. To recap, firmographics is simply public information about the organization, such as what they do, total number of employees, etc.
Intent data draws from user behavior on the website. For example, a visitor who spends a fair bit of time reading security and compliance documentation likely prioritizes security and compliance.
Piper uses this information, along with data discovered through conversation, to qualify the lead. It then routes the qualified lead to the right human sales reps and attempts to book a meeting.
What works: On July 22, 2026, RevOps Manager Kekul S. left a G2 review praising various Piper features, including its flexible routing.
Limitations: In the same review, Keku S. mentioned a steep learning curve when it comes to fine-tuning conversations and routing. “Qualified is a powerful platform,” he wrote, “But because it’s highly configurable, there can be a learning curve during implementation as you fine-tune conversations, routing, and AI behavior.”

As we mentioned above, Piper is built natively for Salesforce, rather than connected from the outside. That means data flows efficiently between Piper and Salesforce.
Each plan includes integrations with the Salesforce CRM and 20+ GTM systems, enabling reporting through both platforms. In plain terms, teams can see Piper’s results in the Salesforce dashboards they already use.
API access allows a company’s developers to connect Qualified to their own system and custom code integrations. API access is available in Piper’s Enterprise and Ultimate plans, but Piper doesn’t list it as a feature of the Premier plan (the lowest-level plan), as of October 12, 2026.
What works: Marketing Operations professional Shanna O. described the integrations into other systems as “robust” on July 2, 2026. Additionally, a verified anonymous user wrote: “Several integrations with other tools help us greatly to connect our data ecosystem” on August 18, 2026.
Limitations: On August 18, 2026, the same verified anonymous user of Piper’s Premier edition complained: “Access to the new API is tied to the Enterprise edition, which is the more advanced version of the software.”

Salesforce CRM dashboard example
Qualified offers three separate plans for Piper. All prices are quote-only, so you’ll have to speak with an account executive at Qualified to identify the costs. Here’s a quick breakdown of each plan’s features as of October 9, 2026.
Plan | Features | Usage allowances | Buyer considerations |
Premier | Multi-modal agent (text, voice, video); agentic website and email conversations; meeting booking; multi-language support | 250K monthly web sessions; 2.5K monthly active email contacts | Limits may be too strict for companies with high-traffic websites. Also note that the Premier plan doesn’t allow API and MCP access |
Enterprise | All Premier features + agent handoff; MCP and API access; Salesforce sandbox | 2M web sessions; 10K email contacts | Worthwhile for teams with higher traffic and lead volumes, along with those requiring MCP and API access |
Ultimate | All Enterprise features + high-volume contact databases; dedicated IP address | 5M web sessions; 24K email contacts | Necessary for larger enterprises with extensive traffic and lead volumes |
All plans include the Piper AI SDR Agent studio, Agent Spotlight, waterfall enrichments, Salesforce CRM, and 20+ integrations, routing, and reporting, as of October 9, 2026.
Choosing the right plan for your organization comes down to your minimum requirements. Any one of the following four drivers would require you to move to a higher tier:
Website traffic that exceeds the listed monthly sessions for a given plan
Higher email follow-up volume requirements (based on active contacts)
Additional technical requirements (e.g., API, MCP, sandbox, agent handoff)
Deliverability and scale (e.g., dedicated IP needs, high-volume databases)
Consider which Qualified pricing plan you’ll need today, and what your business will require as you scale in the quarters to come.
As of October 12, 2026, there are 1,563 Qualified G2 Reviews, with an average rating of 4.9 stars.

Qualified is best for B2B marketing teams that use Salesforce and receive large volumes of web traffic and meaningful inbound demand. If your traffic is low, you’ll end up paying for capacity you won’t use until you scale.
It also tends to work better for teams that have the time and resources for a longer onboarding and are willing to adapt to a steeper learning curve. Additionally, teams that require API customization must pay for the Enterprise or Ultimate plans, since Premier does not currently include API integrations.
Teams that need channels Qualified doesn't list for Piper as of October 2026, such as SMS or AI product demos, should look at other options.
Qualified also says onboarding takes about a month, and even the simplest plan affords users 250,000 monthly web sessions and 2,500 active email contacts. This is superfluous for teams with traffic and lead volumes well below that threshold.
Curious to see how Qualified stacks up against Drift? Take a look at our Drift vs. Qualified blog post, or take a look at our post exploring other Qualified alternatives.
Spara is a platform that deploys AI agents via chat and email in its Starter package, along with voice and AI product demos (available in the Growth plan and higher). SMS texting is available in the Enterprise plan.
Spara works with Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, and other popular platforms, and every action writes back to the CRM. It may be a better fit for teams that don’t use Salesforce and require integration with HubSpot or other CRMs.
It also works well for teams that require faster implementation and onboarding, since most Spara customers go live within 14 days. Qualified says onboarding takes around a month.
Spara assigns a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to each account, along with a Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) who performs the hands-on implementation. Following launch, Spara provides weekly agent optimizations.
One distinct advantage Spara has over Qualified is that Spara is an AI-native platform. In other words, the entire platform was built after Large Language Models (LLMs) became popular. AI-native platforms build their entire architecture around how LLMs process information and understand context. Our Spara vs. Qualified comparison covers the differences in detail. The one that matters most, for day-to-day operations, is its continuity across channels.
That tracks with everyday, real-world sales cycles, where a prospect may poke around your website on a random Tuesday and ask a few questions via voice chat the next week. Instead of starting from scratch, the system remembers the user, and each conversation moves the prospect closer to closing.

Qualified is a strong contender for B2B teams that use Salesforce and receive enough traffic to get the most out of Piper. That said, it comes with a few trade-offs. Onboarding takes around a month, and many G2 reviews say it has a steep learning curve.
