Key takeaways

  • Drift's entry plan, Premium, was last listed at $2,500 per month, billed annually. Advanced and Enterprise were quote-only.

  • Every plan included one seat. Extra seats, Bionic Chatbots, and Drift Email were billed on top of the plan.

  • Salesloft will sunset Drift on January 31, 2027, so it's no longer an option for new buyers.

  • Existing customers keep their current price until their contract ends or the sunset date, whichever comes first.

  • Spara includes unlimited seats on every plan. Most customers go live within 14 days.

  • Plan for your replacement solution now: evaluate your needs and budget, identify the right platform, and ensure they will support you with a smooth migration.

The last public Drift price was $2,500 per month for its Premium plan. By early 2025, Salesloft's pricing page asked buyers to contact it for Drift pricing. With Drift retiring at the end of January 2027, it is the budget for an alternative solution that matters most now.

How much does Drift cost?

Drift's pricing page listed one public price, for Premium, and sold Advanced and Enterprise by quote. G2's Drift listing still shows the same Premium price; G2 last updated it on October 9, 2024. In early 2025, Drift's pricing page began redirecting to Salesloft's, which told buyers: "For Drift or other pricing questions, please contact us." We found no newer public price.

Every Drift plan included one seat. Salesloft's March 2025 Drift Pricing FAQ says Premium teams could buy more seats, billed annually, but gives no seat price.

Does Drift have a free plan or free trial?

You can no longer sign up for Drift or start a free trial. Drift's website and free-trial page redirect to Salesloft's page about moving from Drift to 1mind, and when we tested it on October 9, 2026, the sign-up form in the Drift app no longer worked. Drift's pricing page listed a Free plan as recently as January 2021, but by July 2024 it showed only Premium, Advanced, and Enterprise. G2's listing still says Drift offers a free trial; it no longer does.

Drift pricing plans: what each plan included

Each Drift plan included everything in the plan before it, plus the features in this table.

Plan

What it added

Premium

Live chat, custom chatbots, meeting booking, Drift Intel (account and contact enrichment), real-time notifications, conversational landing pages, and 12/5 customer support

Advanced

Fastlane, audiences, A/B testing, advanced routing, a dedicated customer success manager, quarterly strategy consulting, and 24/7 support with access to Drift's support engineers

Enterprise

Workspaces, AI-powered chatbots, flex routing, and custom role-based access control

Meeting booking came with Premium but advanced routing did not. Premium included standard routing, by round-robin or record ownership. Advanced added advanced routing and Fastlane, which prompted qualified leads to book a meeting or chat as soon as they filled in a form.

Drift chatbot pricing

Every paid Drift plan included chatbots, and Enterprise added AI-powered chatbots. Drift's newer AI products, Bionic Chatbots and Site Concierge, became generally available in March 2024. Salesloft's July 2024 article "Drift Packages and Availability" lists both as paid add-ons for Premium, Advanced, and Enterprise, alongside Drift Email, which sorted and routed replies to marketing emails. We found no public price for any tier of Drift chatbot pricing.

What does Drift cost you now?

If you're already a Drift customer, staying until the sunset costs nothing extra. Salesloft's Drift Sunset FAQ, last updated in September 2026, says it will honor existing contracts through their end date, or the sunset date if that's earlier, without changing what you're billed. Service and support stay the same until then.

What you do have to budget for is the move. There's no Drift to renew after January 2027, so the replacement has to be chosen, bought, and live before your access ends. Your data has a deadline too: you can download most of it yourself while you still have access, and Salesloft permanently deletes anything not exported by May 1, 2027.

For the full timeline, what stops working, and an export checklist, read what the Drift sunset means for your contract and data.

Drift hidden costs and switching costs

Drift's plan price was never the whole bill. These costs sat on top of it:

  • Seats and add-ons. Every plan included one seat. Extra seats, Bionic Chatbots, Site Concierge, Drift Email, and Workspaces were paid on top of the plan.

  • Prerequisites in other tools. Salesloft's July 2025 Salesforce integration guide says Drift's Salesforce integration needed an edition with application programming interface (API) access, and Drift's account-based marketing features needed the Clearbit Reveal add-on.

  • People to answer live chat. Live chat only works when someone is there to answer, so covering chat hours took sales rep time.

One G2 reviewer at a company with more than 1,000 employees put the seat cost plainly in August 2023: "To be most effective, you must purchase a seat for your entire sales team. This can be extremely costly."

Leaving Drift adds two costs of its own: rebuilding playbooks, routing rules, and integrations in the new tool, and running Drift and the replacement side by side while the new tool proves itself on live traffic.

How to compare Drift replacement costs

Drift was sold by plan and seat, so the plan price was the headline figure. For a replacement, compare cost per qualified meeting instead: the first-year total, including setup and any overlap with Drift, divided by the qualified meetings you expect it to book. Ask each vendor:

  • What's included at the quoted price, and what's billed on top: seats, channels, AI features, or support?

  • Does the price go up as you add reps?

  • Which channels does it cover beyond website chat?

  • How long does it take to go live, and who does the setup work?

  • Does it work with your CRM and routing rules as they are, or will you rebuild them?

  • Can you run it alongside Drift before you switch Drift off?

How Spara is priced

Spara's pricing page lists three annual plans: Starter, Growth, and Enterprise. Each plan is a platform fee, and the tier depends on usage: teams with more inbound volume, or that want access to more channels, can choose a higher tier. Every plan includes unlimited seats, so there's no per-seat fee. Most customers go live within 14 days, so you can run Spara alongside Drift for as long as you need before switching Drift off.

Starter covers AI chat and email. Growth adds AI Voice, AI Product Demos, A/B testing, and visitor deanonymization. Text and SMS are on Enterprise. See current plans and prices on Spara's pricing page.

Rho saw a 3.1x increase in form-to-meeting conversion, with 137 qualified meetings booked in one quarter. Mindbody replaced a legacy chatbot with Spara AI Chat and saw a 10.3% lift in marketing-qualified leads converting to sales-qualified leads versus a control group.

For Drift customers, Spara offers free migration and matches your Drift contract price, so you can switch without taking on new budget risk.
